2014 Stillwater Super Regional: UC Irvine 1 Oklahoma State 0

STILLWATER, Okla. — A first-inning run stood up and Andrew Morales pitched a complete-game gem to lift UC Irvine over Oklahoma State, 1-0, Saturday night as the Anteaters won the Stillwater Super Regional and earned a berth in the College World Series.

With the victory, UCI will be making the program’s second trip to the Division I College World Series and the first since 2007. Coach Mike Gillespie’s ‘Eaters will open against Texas next weekend at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Neb. Complete pairings and game times will be announced Monday.

UCI scored the game’s lone run in the bottom of the first as Chris Rabago hit a one-out single through the right side and then advanced to second on Connor Spencer’s single to right.
