LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Kennesaw State baseball team had the lead late over the University of Louisville, but the Owls couldn’t hang on late, falling to the Cardinals in game one of the Super Regional, 5-3.
KSU, now 40-23 on the year, falls behind in the best-of-three series, 1-0, but put up a strong showing, holding a lead into the eighth inning before the bats of Louisville (49-15) showed up to swing the Cardinals to the win, scoring three in the eighth to come up with the victory.
