Update Number 3 at 7pm on June 3rd
Blake Austin, a catcher on the Auburn baseball team tweeted out the following at 6:27pm. The record of Auburn actually has NOTHING to do with this story. The issues are the way players were treated by the coaching staff.
The reports coming out of Auburn are a joke. 28-28 record is a reflection of the players we had not the coach. #BETRUE

Update Number 2 at 5pm on June 3rd
Two independent sources have confirmed that Auburn head coach Sunny Golloway and Athletic Director Jay Jacobs were meeting today to discuss a reduced buyout of Golloway’s contract. This would lead to Golloway leaving the program and the Tigers getting a new head coach.
Other sources around the Auburn program have stated there was verbal abuse of the players that has led to this investigation.
This sounds like some reports from former Oklahoma players that have stated they dealt with same things during Golloway’s tenure in Norman.

Original Post
College Baseball Daily has learned that first year coach Sunny Golloway is under an internal investigation after Auburn pitching coach Scott Foxhall didn’t have his contract renewed about two weeks. Foxhall had just finished his sixth season with the Tigers and was retained last summer as the pitching coach on June 26th, 2013 by Golloway. There is also lawsuits filed against the school that is being investigated by the Athletic Department. There is a possibility that these lawsuits could end Golloway’s run with the Tigers after only one rocky season which saw four upperclassmen suspended in midseason. This is a developing situation so stay tuned for more information.

There is no lawsuit from Foxhall.
Article never said there was
The original one did. It has since been changed.
Sorry if I sounded snooty. Didn’t see the original one.
Holy shit your grammar is a joke.
How does a guy with writing skills like this have a job?
When you own the website…
The NCAA needs to take a good long look at all of Auburn sports… Give them the DEATH PENALTY…
[…] I can’t speak to the credibility of the site, but if true things could about to be very ugly for Sunny Golloway. Doesn’t strike me as the type of guy to go away silently (again, if true). (CB Daily) […]
Wow. Had to read that a few times. Yet, I am still confused.
The players of today are a bunch of pussies! They were brought up in a system were everybody wins, everyone gets a trophy, and parents freak out if a coach is even a little critical of a player all the way up through high school. Then these soft kids come to college and they cant take it. You have to recruit the kid (and his parents), not just his skills.
