Maine in the eighth scratched across a run Troy Black infield single to make it 5-3.

With two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning, Shaun McGraw turned on an inside fastball and launched it over the left field wall off the scoreboard at LeLacheur Park to make it 6-3.
