UPDATE #2: April 17th at 9:02pm ET
After losing to UC Santa Barbara last Sunday, Vanderhook told Shotgun Spratling:
“They’re a soft group and if they keep doing what they’re doing, they’re going to be the first team from Fullerton not to play in the postseason in 26 years.”
UPDATE #1: April 17th at 8:24pm ET
We have spoken to many sources around the Cal-State Fullerton program that stated Vanderhook’s post game punishment was excessive. It included berating players while having extensive running. One of the sources stated to us that this was “Bobby Knight” level stuff. We will update with more information as we investigate it.
Original Post

“Effective today, Cal State Fullerton’s head coach Rick Vanderhook has been placed on paid administrative leave. The university has received allegations that it is obligated to review.”
As always, we will be all over this with coverage from Shotgun Spratling and myself.
