Yesterday afternoon, there was a large fire in the city of Boston which claimed two lives of firefighters that responded to the nine alarm fire. Living in the building was former URI baseball player Chris Pickering and his girlfriend Kayleigh who lost everything in the fire but got out safely. URI Baseball has tweeted out a link to help out the couple. Since the GoFundMe has been set up, they have raised over $4,000 for the couple. You can donate by clicking here or the link below.
