CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia – Corey Dick and Matt Keeler collected three hits apiece and UNCW ended the game with a triple play as the Seahawks eliminated Army with a 9-5 win on Saturday at the NCAA Charlottesville Regional at Davenport Field.

The Seahawks advanced to Sunday and will face Elon at 1 p.m.

In the ninth, the Black Knights landed their first two hitters on base against reliever Christian MacDonald (5-1) before closer Kelly Secrest made his way into the game. Secrest fanned Jon Crucitti for the first out with the runners in motion. Catcher Drew Farber threw to Ryan LaGrange at third, who ran the lead runner back to second before tagging the trail runner for the second out. The lead runner then wandered off base and LaGrange turned and fired to Farber covering third.
