The majority of teams had good weeks. You will see a few teams dropped down even after having decent weeks. Gonzaga and South Alabama jump some of them pushing those other clubs down.

How good will Mercer be when they get their ACE back, David Randall? He broke a finger on his pitching hand against Notre Dame. I think they’ll be a scary team come Regional time.

How in the heck is Notre Dame, Indiana, Pitt and Ohio St getting considerations in this poll. They are true Major Conference (Big Ten and East and soon to be ACC with Louisville included) teams. I love the idea of a MidMajor poll but let it be Mid Major.

AmK32 March 28, 2013 - 12:05 am

Because it is a baseball poll and not a basketball or football poll. They are in a BCS conference for sure but that means little in baseball. Once those schools “officially” join the ACC they will no longer be considered a mid major.
