Oregon State Media Relations recently put together a video about the Day in the Life of LHP Matt Boyd. He is a senior who was selected in the 13th round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Cincinnati Reds but decided to return for his final season of eligibility. He spent the summer of 2012 in the Cape Cod Baseball League where he went 2-1 with a 4.33 earned run average in 27 innings while striking out 39 with seven walks and compiling a 1.11 WHIP.
