Florida State senior Stephen Spradling got injured severely while skydiving on Sunday afternoon. Florida State assistant coach Mike Martin Jr. told the Tallahassee Democrat that Spradling suffered a broken pelvis, broken hips, broken ribs and a broken bone in his back. It is expected that Spradling will be in a wheelchair for the next 2-3 months and not expected to play for the Noles this upcoming spring. Spradling appeared hit.262 in 42 at-bats for the Seminoles. He was second on the team with 12 hit-by-pitches.
