STILLWATER, Okla. – A 25-game homestand is among the highlights of Oklahoma State’s 2013 baseball schedule, which was released today.

OSU opens its first season under head coach Josh Holliday on the road at New Mexico Feb. 15-17. The Lobos were an NCAA Tournament team a year ago, one of seven such clubs on the Cowboys’ schedule this season.

Following its weekend in New Mexico, the Cowboys return to Stillwater for the long homestand at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium, which begins Feb. 19 against Alcorn State. OSU will not be on the road again until April 2 when the Pokes travel to Norman to take on Oklahoma in a non-conference tilt.

For the first time since 2005, OSU will open Big 12 Conference play at home. The Cowboys host defending Big 12 champion Baylor on March 22-24 and will also be at home the following weekend against Texas. The Pokes also host Kansas State (April 19-21) and West Virginia (May 17-19) in league action.

Among the Cowboys’ non-conference highlights are games at home and away with Missouri State and Wichita State, a showdown with Oral Roberts at ONEOK Field in Tulsa and an appearance at the TD Ameritrade Classic in Omaha, Neb., where OSU will take on Creighton, Nebraska and Rutgers.

The Big 12 Baseball Championship will be held at Oklahoma City’s Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark May 22-26, while NCAA Regionals get underway on May 31.
