SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Looking to build on last season’s 26 wins, Santa Clara baseball released its 2013 schedule today. With Bronco head coach Dan O’Brien entering his second season at the helm for the Broncos, Santa Clara is changing game-day times.
O’Brien is changing the traditional start times of 7 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday to a 6 p.m. start on Friday and 3 p.m. on Saturday in an attempt to allow more people to make it out to Schott Stadium for games.
“I’m excited about our scheduling this year,” said O’Brien. “This year’s line-up includes games that were set-up prior to our arrival, but Coach Ribas did a great job rounding it out and continues to develop great relationships throughout the country to ensure a competitive and compelling schedule for years to come.”
