2012 College World Series Schedule Announced

OMAHA—The game times and pairings for the first two days of the Men’s College World Series have been announced. The 66th MCWS will take place at the TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha from June 15-25/26, 2012.

The first game on Friday is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. (CT) and features the only first time participant, Stony Brook (52-13), against No. 2 national seed UCLA (47-14). Friday’s second game pits No. 3 national seed Florida St. (48-15) against Arizona (43-17), and is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. (CT).

The doubleheader on Saturday features Arkansas vs. Kent State at 4 p.m. (CT), and No. 1 national seed Florida (47-18) squaring off against No. 8 national seed and defending national champion South Carolina (45-17) at 8 p.m. (CT)

The losers of Friday’s two games will play one another at 4 p.m. (CT) on Sunday, while Friday’s winners face off at 8 p.m. (CT) Sunday. The losers of Saturday’s games will play each other at 4 p.m. (CT) on Monday, while Saturday’s winners meet Monday at 8 p.m. (CT)
The winners of the two brackets will play best-of-three championship finals, with the first game set for 7 p.m. (CT) on Sunday, June 24. The second game is scheduled for 7 p.m. (CT) on Monday, June 25, while the third and deciding game (if necessary) is slated for 7 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, June 26.
