Brutal!!!
worst case ever of trying to stick it to the west coast, Since when did
Fullerton win the conference and be ranked consistently in the top 15 all year
and not earn a home regional??? And then you put them in the UCLA regional?
Fullerton has beaten them twice already this year, and UCLA could finish 4th in
the conference, RPI be dammed! Fullerton is ranked higher than at least 4 of
the other regional host, not to mention those 4 did not even win the conference
(as of today). UCLA is ranked 11th, Purdue is 15th, NC state is 13th, and
Virginia is 19th…Arkansas is not even in the top 25 anymore. We have said it for years how the west coast always
gets that shaft and now we have the best proof ever.
One correction, UCLA beat fullerton twice, still a brutal snub for west coast
When will the regionals be played ?
June 1st-4th is the opening round!

These projections had to be made by someone totally clueless.
No kidding! That Baylor region is a joke, no way they put 4 Texas schools all in the same region much less Baylor and Rice
Rice not hosting! I know their RPI is low. But they are in the top 10 in most polls. #4 in the writers
Just like UMass was number 1 in lax and got the six seed in the NCAA tourney! The strength of schedule for the Owls is low!

A win on the road at Stanford. A win at TAMU, A win at Sam Houston.Rice swept Dallas Baptist, eventhough DBU isn’t the team they were last year they still are a decent team. Rice also split a series with Arizona.I know Rice’s conference is very weak. But UCF is #13, ECU was ranked. Tulane is also doing very well.
Strength of schedule should be a be held into account but really. The only difference between this year’s rice team and last years is Rendon and a slightly better record this year.
And Rice might not even win the C-USA regular season title a it comes down to a single game against UCF tomorrow afternoon

Once I saw that 2 SEC teams were in the same regional (FSU’s), I knew these projections were a joke. That never happens.
Brian,
What will it take for SLU and TxSt to both get bids? I read somewhere that this year was going to be different and allow more mid-major conferences to give multiple bids. Where is the bubble likely to be made in regards to at large bids? What number RPI range?
Rice not hosting? You smoking crack?
Mr, Foley- I thought you said you felt Miami would have to win the ACC tourney to still get a hosting bid. That said, how do you have them BOTH still as a host BUT with FSU and NOT MIAMI winning the ACC tourney? One of the two cannot hold up and be true.
Look at the date please on the post!

Come on, you have to get Utah Valley in there….32 straight wins and they beat a couple of P-12 teams.
Utah Valley has to be in the mix. They are #1 nationally in D1 in Batting Average, Scoring, Runs, Hits, Slugging Percentage, and On Base Percentage. They are #2 in WL Pct, #3 in Sacrifice Flies, #4 in Triples, #5 in Triples per Game, #6 in Doubles, … They are in the top 10 nationally in 12 of 27 categories. See http://web1.ncaa.org/stats/StatsSrv/ranksummary and tell me they don’t belong in the CWS.
haha there is no way uga would have been a 2 seed, although this was a week ago, still
When do they announce the teams that make it
Monday the brackets coming and the hosts on Sunday
Brian Foley
does uconn have a chance of making it
Nope
