VIDEO: Vanderhook Not Happy With Players

LOS ANGELES — USC scored seven unanswered runs Tuesday night at Dedeaux Field to take a 7-4 win over No. 19 Cal State Fullerton. The Trojans (9-3) used 13 singles, including five in a five-run seventh inning, to knock off the Titans (9-4).

After the game we talked to each team’s head coaches.

Fullerton coach Rick Vanderhook was not happy at all. After berating his team for 10-15 minutes in the outfield huddle, Vanderhook spoke about how his team “stinks” right now. He also talked about how badly his team would get beat this weekend at Texas A&M, if the players don’t make adjustments:

USC head coach Frank Cruz was in a much more jovial mood after his team’s win continued its strong start. Cruz talks about Tuesday night’s game and how he has been able to get production from so many different players this season:
