LOS ANGELES — USC scored seven unanswered runs Tuesday night at Dedeaux Field to take a 7-4 win over No. 19 Cal State Fullerton. The Trojans (9-3) used 13 singles, including five in a five-run seventh inning, to knock off the Titans (9-4).

Fullerton coach Rick Vanderhook was not happy at all. After berating his team for 10-15 minutes in the outfield huddle, Vanderhook spoke about how his team “stinks” right now. He also talked about how badly his team would get beat this weekend at Texas A&M, if the players don’t make adjustments:
