Former Oregon State pitcher Rob Summers suffered a devastating back injury in the summer after the 2006 College World Series title that left him as a quadriplegic. This was horrible news for Summers who had dreams of playing in MLB but it didn’t deter him from recovering from the injury even though doctors told him that he would not walk again. After an intense rehab, he has seen remarkable improvement. He had regained feeling in his legs and arms while being able to walk for several minutes at a time.
