Bowling Green, Ohio—Head Coach Danny Schmitz and the Bowling Green State University baseball team announced a tentative schedule for the 2012 season today.
The schedule is highlighted by trips to Stillwater, Okla., to play the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a three-game series, and to Winterhaven, Fla. to play in the Russ Matt Invitational. Last season Oklahoma State finished 35-25, including a trip to the Belmont Regional in the NCAA Tournament.
The schedule features 16 home games—including home MAC series’ with Central Michigan (March 30-April 1), Kent State (April 13-15), Ohio (April 27-29), and Toledo (May 11-13). The home schedule also features weekday games against Malone College, University of Dayton, Defiance College, and Wright State University. All home games are played at Warren E. Steller Field.
The Falcons will once again play Big 10 foes Michigan State, Michigan, and Ohio State on the road in weekday action, while playing return games at Dayton and Wright State.
