After traveling to all three non-conference those foes to begin 2011, Stanford will travel to Fresno State as its only out of conference road trip this season March 2-4.

With the addition of Utah to the Pac-12, and the loss of one non-conference weekend, Stanford will host: USC (March 24-26), Oregon (April 13-15), Arizona State (April 20-22), Washington State (May 11-13) and Cal (May 25-27) and travel to: Arizona (March 30-April 1), Washington (April 5-7), UCLA (April 27-29), Oregon State (May 4-6) and Utah (May 18-20).

On Memorial Day Weekend, the Cardinal will also host a 25th Anniversary Weekend for its 1987-88 championship teams. On Saturday players will be honored and a dinner will follow. Cal coach David Esquer played shortstop for the Cardinal. Pacific coach Ed Sprague, also a member of those teams, will also play the Cardinal this season. Alumni from those teams interested in attending can contact the basball office at kjbills@stanford.edu.

With the exception of the Monday business man’s special with USC (May 26) and fireworks night and the following day against Washington State (May 11-12), all weekday games will be at 5:30 p.m and all Saturday and Sunday games will be at 1 p.m.

Mark Marquess enters his 36th year at the helm of the baseball program that he once played for. The Super Regional team (35-22) from a year ago returns eight starters and will feature juniors Mark Appel, the projected No. 1 pick and Brett Mooneyham at the front end of its rotation.
