The Texas Longhorns have released their 2012 schedule which features five out of conferences series against teams from the Pac-12, ACC, and West Coast Conference.
The Longhorns will open the season on Febrauary 17th when the Duke Blue Devils visit town for the start of a three game set. They will follow that series up with a single home game against UT-Arlington before heading to Stanford for a three game series.
Following the trip to Palo Alto, they will play a home game against Houston Baptist before heading to Houston for the annual Houston College Classic at Minute Maid Park. The opponents are currently TBD at this time.
They will then head home for a game against 2011 Super Regional participant Dallas Baptist before hosting West Coast Conference member Loyola Marymount for another three game set.
They will then open up Big 12 play with a visit to Oklahoma on March 16th for the start of a three game set. They will also visit Big 12 conference members Kansas State (March 23rd-25th), Texas Tech (April 5th-7th), and Missouri (May 4th-6th).
The Longhorns open up the Big 12 home slate on April 13th when Oklahoma State starts a three game set. They will also welcome Kansas (April 20th-22nd), Texas A&M (April 28th-29th), and Baylor (May 18th-19th). They will play single road games on April 27th at Texas A&M and May 17th at Baylor.
They also have an off week in the Big 12 when they play Cal in Round Rock, Texas for a four game set starting on March 30th-April 1st.
