Arizona State Sun Devils have announced their 2012 baseball schedule. The Sun Devils are coming off a 43-18 overall record and a 17-10 record in the Pac-10. They advanced to the Austin Super Regional where they lost to Texas in three games.
They will open the season on February 17th when Western Michigan visits Tempe for a three game series. The following weekend sees them hosting UC-Riverside for a three game set also. They will play in the Surprise, Arizona tournament where they will face off against Saint Louis, Winthrop, Northwestern, and Saint Mary’s. The Sun Devils will round out non-conference weekend play on March 9th-11th when they head on the road to Long Beach State.
Arizona State will open the Pac-12 slate this season on the road when they visit UCLA on March 16th-18th. They will also head to Pac-12 opponents Oregon (March 30th-April 1st), Stanford (April 20th-22nd), Washington State (April 27th-29th), and archrival Arizona (May 25th-27th).
Arizona State hosts their first home Pac-12 series on March 23rd when 2011 CWS participant Cal visits Packard Stadium. They will also square off against conference opponents Oregon State (April 5th-7th), USC (April 13th-15th), Utah (May 4th-6th), and Washington (May 18th-20th).
