The LSU Tigers have released their 2012 schedule on their official website. The Tigers are coming off a 36-20 and 13-17 mark in SEC play in 2011 as they missed the 2011 NCAA Tournament.
The Tigers will open the season on February 17th when they host Air Force. They will play Alcorn State the next day before facing Air Force again on the 19th. After a midweek matchup against McNeese State, they will host Appalachian State for a three game set on February 24th-26th.
LSU will round out the non-conference weekend schedule with weekend sets against Dartmouth (March 2nd-4th) and two game series with Michigan (March 9th-10th) and Notre Dame (March 11th-12th).
They will open up SEC play on March 16th when they start a three game home series against Mississippi State. LSU will also host SEC opponents Arkansas (March 30th-April 1st), Alabama (April 13th-15th), Georgia (April 27th-29th), and Vanderbilt (May 11th-13th).
The Tigers will go on the road to face Auburn on March 23rd-25th in their first road series of the year. They will also head on the road to Florida (April 6th-8th), Kentucky (April 20th-22nd), Ole Miss (May 4th-6th), and South Carolina (May 17th-19th).
