Arizona State’s Andrew Aplin went 2-4 as Orleans defeated Harwich in the first game of a doubleheader.
Game 2: Orleans 4 Harwich Mariners 3
Andrew Aplin hit a three run homer in a four run fifth inning as the Orleans Firebirds completed the doubleheader sweep over Harwich 4-3.
Cotuit Kettleers 7 Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox 7 (FINAL)
Victor Roache (Georgia Southern) hit his sixth homerun of the summer in a five run third inning as Cotuit and Yarmouth-Dennis tied at 7 as the game was called for darkness. James Ramsey (Florida State) hit his fifth homer of the summer to lead the Red Sox attack.
Chatham Anglers 5 Bourne Braves 2
Ronnie Shaffer (Clemson) had a double and triple while driving in three runs as Chatham defeated the Bourne Braves 5-2.
Hyannis Harbor Hawks 3 Brewster Whitecaps 1
Eric Stamets (Evansville) and Dan Gulbransen (Jacksonville) each had two hits as Hyannis Harbor Hawks defeated the Brewster Whitecaps 3-1.
Falmouth Commodores 4 Warham Gatemen 2
Barrett Barnes (Texas Tech) went 2-4 with a double as Falmouth defeated Wareham 4-2.
