Wareham Gatemen 3 Bourne Braves 2
Gatemen and UConn outfielder John Andreoli continued his hot hitting going 3-3 with a run scored to help lead the Gatemen to the 3-2 victory over the Bourne Braves. TCU’s Jason Coats was the leading hitter for the Braves in a losing effort as he went 2-4.
Yarmouth-Dennis 5 Hyannis Harbor Hawks 2
UCLA’s Cody Keefer and Washington’s Jacob Lamb each had two hits to lead the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox to a 5-2 victory over the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. Indiana’s Joey Denato wa credited with the win by giving up one run on three hits in 7.2 innings pitched. St. John’s Kyle Hansen was credited with the save pitching the final inning giving up a run on a hit.
Falmouth Commodores 3 Cotuit Kettleers 1
Jeremy Baltz (St. John’s) went 2-4 with a run scored as Falmouth defeated the Cotuit Kettleers 3-1 on Sunday evening. Krey Bratsen (Texas A&M), Logan Vick (Baylor), and Stefan Sabol (Oregon) each had two hits in the losing effort.
Harwich Mariners 4 Brewster Whitecaps 3
LSU’s Austin Nola got a bases loaded single to left field to bring home East Carolina’s John Wooten from third to give the Mariners the walkoff 4-3 victory over Brewster.
Orleans Firebirds 7 Chatham Anglers 3
Florida State’s Jayce Boyd went 2-5 with a solo homer to lead the Orleans Firebirds to a 7-3 win over the Chatham Anglers. Matthew Roberts (UNC) had three hits with two runs scored in a losing effort for the Anglers.
