Harwich Mariners 7 Cotuit Kettleers 3

Ronnie Richardson from Central Florida led the offense by going 3-4 with an RBI while teammate Austin Wilson picked up two RBI. NC State sophomore RHP Chris Overman got the win pitching 2.2 scoreless innings in relief while Alex Keudall picked up the loss by giving up four runs (two earned) in only five innings pitched.

Brewster Whitecaps 3 Wareham Gatemen 2

Taylor Davis (Morehead State) led the offense for the Whitecaps by going 3-4 with a run scored as Brewster edged the Wareham Gatemen 3-2. Oklahoma’s Jordan John got the win by pitching five innings giving up six hits and only one run. Wareham starting pitcher Luke Farrell (Northwestern) got the loss by pitching four innings surrounding six hits while allowing two runs.

Chatham Anglers 6 Yarmouth-Dennis 5

Richie Shaffer (Clemson) had a perfect afternoon going 3-3 with two run scored while driving in a run as the Chatham Anglers edged the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox 6-5. UCLA RHP Eric Jaffe got the win out of the bullpen by pitching a perfect inning while striking out two batters. FSU RHP Robert Benincasa got the loss by giving up two runs on a hit and three walks in only 0.2 innings pitched.

Falmouth Commodores 4 Orleans Firebirds 1

Andrew Aizenstadt (Babson) got the win by pitching five innings giving up only one run on five hits to lead the Commodores to the 4-1 victory over the Orleans Firebirds. Rice RHP John Simms got the save pitching a scoreless ninth inning while Gonzaga LHP Ryan Carpenter was tagged with the loss by giving up three runs (one earned) in four innings of work.
