Last week you had Texas Tech going to Virginia’s regional. How do they completely fallout of the projections after going 3-1 last week?

Stetson to low with a #3 seed. They would have a good shot to host if season ended right now……Tennessee no real good wins to get in and just 2-4 in SEC……Maybe switch Gonzaga and Cal St Bakersfield. Bakersfield is a solid #3 right now….At 13-11 Louisiana has alot of work to do to get in Regional. nnWouldnt mind GSU going to Vandy that would be a decent drive but rather have them go to ATL if they get in.

Stetson hasn’t done enough for me yet…lost to a good UCF team yesterday and a victory over FSU isn’t much!rnrnBrian FoleyrnSent on the Sprintu00ae Now Network from my BlackBerryu00ae

Georgia Southern is 4-4 against ranked opponents so far an has beat Florida who was number 1 at the time, Ga Tech, CofC (twice)…. Folks can doubt Southern 15-11 socon 6-3 if they wanna but they have 30 games remaining and a strong run plus the Socon Championship will put them in place to compete in the Region NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!! A True Cinderella Team that people arent counting on but will do much more damage than people expect……

Nice to see the Golden Eagles getting more recognition. They just beat Ole Miss in extra innings.

What has Georgia Southern done to deserve a bid then? Stetson has played much better than they have and easily should be a higher seed then GSU? Jacksonville has beaten UNC Wilmington 2 of 3 – Swept Samford in 4 game series and beat GSU head up and has a similar or better overall record. The ASUN deserves more than 1 bid – I disagreee for sure with your logic. Even if not JU – somebody else deserves in

how is FAU not picked to make a regional this year

Darkwing97 March 31, 2011 - 1:45 pm

you cannot put two teams from the same confrence is the same regional, see Texas State and TAMCC

Evidently, you haven’t been paying attention to Florida State’s bullpen. They’re miserable and will cost them quite a few more games.

Brian Foley March 31, 2011 - 4:16 pm

I am well aware of FSU’s bullpen but they have some good wins already this season.

Cokehombre April 1, 2011 - 4:25 am

It’s March and conference play has just begun. Let’s not get too wrapped up in projections this far out.

Sundevilduck April 1, 2011 - 9:28 am

Foley, you are aware ASU is likely in the postseason this year, serving their suspension in 2012 if the appeal is lost, right?n

Brian Foley April 1, 2011 - 1:55 pm

I am aware of this fact but as of right now, nothing has been settled on thatrnSent on the Sprintu00ae Now Network from my BlackBerryu00ae

How does UCLA with a 105th rated RPI and a series loss to San Jose State and Nebraska deserve a regional bid much less a number 2 seed.
