Games to Watch Tonight

Here are some games to watch this afternoon as we have another crazy Wednesday in store for us.

#3 Oklahoma at #8 Arizona State

The Sooners dropped the first game of the brief two game series last night by a score of 6-2 as Brady Rodgers started allowing only one hit as he pitched three shutout innings. Interesting enough, Arizona State has now won 10 out of the last 11 games between the schools.

James Madison at #5 Virginia

The best team in the CAA will visit Charlottesville later today as the Virginia Cavaliers host James Madison. The Dukes have a 13-3 record while being 5-1 in CAA play. Virginia is coming off an impressive three game sweep over Clemson and are currently on 10 game winning streak.

#13 Arizona at Wichita State

Wichita State took game 1 of the two game set on Tuesday by a score of 6-5 in eleven innings. The Wildcats have an impressive 13-4 record but have zero quality series victories this year and will need to be better to put themselves into position to host an NCAA Regional. Wichita State is looking for a key non-conference series sweep that could go a long way to securing an at-large berth.

#19 Louisville at Southern California

The Louisville Cardinals enter their second game of the midweek series against the Southern California Trojans with an 11-4 record but their best wins of the season are a series sweep over Pepperdine this past weekend. Southern California plays in one of the toughest conferences in the country while having a highly competitive out of conference schedule which has led the to a 6-10 record. The Trojans did take game 1 of the mid-week series on Tuesday 4-3 and looking for the sweep tonight.
