Clemson RHP Kevin Brady will miss the next two weeks according to an article by Travis Haney of The Post and Courier. He suffered a strained forearm when warming up for the fifth inning during Sunday’s game against South Carolina. This news is not good for the Tigers as Brady has been the best pitcher for Clemson this season with a 2-0 record and a 1.13 ERA in 16.1 innings. He has shown excellent command striking out 23 batters while walking one batter. This is the second injury to the pitching rotation this season as Dominic Leone hasn’t pitched since the opening weekend with a sore arm.
The Tigers will need to have someone step up this weekend into his spot in the rotation with Justin Sarratt being the first candidate to fill in this weekend against Virginia.
