Washington number 1 starter Andrew Kittredge is eligible for the 2011 season according to my sources close to the situation. He will miss the first 14 games of the 2011 season though due to an academic issue. Last season, Kittredge appeared in 20 games (15 starts) while going 7-7 with a 6.43 ERA in the competitive Pac-10 conference. The Pac-10 season kicks off on April 1st when the Huskies visit UCLA but he is expected to be back by then. Washington is coming off a 28-28 campaign in head coach Lindsay Meggs first season in charge of the program. They struggled in Pac-10 play going 11-16.
