We recently had a chance to catch up with Cal-State Northridge head coach Matt Curtis after the 2011 Southern California Media Day on Wednesday. Curtis is entering his first season with the Matadors after spending the last ten years as a member of the Fresno State coaching staff. He discussed some of the challenges he faces this year with his new squad and his results in the Coaches Cookoff from the Media Day in which he says he wasn’t prepared for the time limit.
