The MAAC conference in 2010 was won by Canisius in the regular season with a 19-5 conference record. Marist came in second with a 16-8 record while Rider and Manhattan tied for third place with 15-7 records. Siena and Niagara tied for fifth place with 13-11 records. Fairfield finished in seventh with a 8-16 record while St. Peter’s finished in eighth with a 6-18 record and Iona finished last with a 3-21 conference mark.
The conference tourney saw the top four teams qualify for the double elimination tournament. Rider would walk away with the conference championship after going 3-0 to receive the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. They were sent to the Austin Regional where they lost to Texas in the opener 11-0 and then Rice 19-1 to end their season.
