UConn-Avery Point’s Roger Bidwell Honored

UConn-Avery Point head coach Roger Bidwell will be honored by the Connecticut Sports Writers’ Association with the 2011 Gold Key Award. Bidwell coached the UConn-Avery Point baseball team to the 2010 NJCAA Division 2 final where they lost to LSU-Eunice 10-2. Bidwell has spent the last 29 seasons in charge of the program going 828-327-7 overall while making the team a perennial NJCAA playoff contender.Norwich Bulletin Article
