Isaiah Howes who played on the 2007 Louisville Baseball team which qualified for the College World Series shot and killed former Louisville football player Daniel Covington after a disagreement early Thursday morning. Howes led the 2007 team in all three triple crown categories hitting .391 with 18 homer and 69 RBI starting all 71 games on the year. He hasn’t appeared in a minor league game since the 2007 season when he played in 39 games while hitting .193 with two homers and 10 RBI.
