SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sacramento State baseball head coach Reggie Christiansen has announced his club’s 2011 season, which features 27 home games.
The Hornets open up the 2011 campaign, Christiansen’s first as head coach after serving two years as the team’s top assistant, against UC Davis on the road on Feb. 18 and conclude the season at Louisiana Tech on May 22.
Sacramento State plays six series in Western Athletic Conference (WAC) play, hosting Fresno State and San Jose State in addition to Louisiana Tech while playing at Hawaii, New Mexico State and Nevada.
Other non-conference games highlighting the schedule includes a two-game series at home versus Minnesota on May 15-16 and three-game sets against in-state rivals UC Irvine and Cal State Northridge.
