LOS ANGELES — The USC baseball program announced its 2011 schedule which will begin with a tournament at Dedeaux Field (Feb. 18-20) featuring Missouri, North Carolina and Cal Poly. A total of 13 teams that played in the 2010 NCAA Tournament, including eight teams from the Pac-10 Conference, are on the Trojans’ schedule for 2011.
USC travels to perennial power Rice for a three-game series (Feb. 25-27) in Houston before a weekend series with Cal State Fullerton (March 4-6). Friday’s game against Fullerton will be played at Goodwin Field with the Saturday and Sunday games at Dedeaux Field.
The Trojans will again take part in the Dodgertown Classic by hosting Ohio State and Georgia before taking on UCLA on March 13 at Dodger Stadium.
The Pac-10 Conference schedule will feature home series against UCLA (March 25-27), Stanford (April 8-10), Arizona State (May 13-15) and Washington State (May 27-29) with road series at California (April 1-3), Washington (April 21-23), Arizona (April 29-May 1) and Oregon State (May 20-22).
The Trojans’ home schedule also features a three-game non-conference series against Pacific (March 18-20) and a two-game midweek series against Louisville (March 15-16). Other midweek games will be played against Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, UC Santa Barbara, Long Beach State, UC Riverside and UC Irvine.
Every game will be broadcast live on usctrojans.com with a video webcast for all home games.
