UPDATED LIST AVAILABLE HERE
The 2010 College Baseball season ended on Wednesday night so it is now time to turn the page and focus on the 2011 season. Fanhouse.com MLB Draft guru Frankie Piliere has put out his first 2011 MLB Draft Follow List. The list includes his top 50 players that he has seen that are eligible for the draft next season. This means that you will not see a couple of big names on the list like UCLA’s Gerrit Cole and Vanderbilt’s Sonny Gray to name a few. He plans on updating his rankings in the coming months as he seems more of these guys play. The listings today has high school LHP Daniel Norris as his top ranked player with UConn’s Matt Barnes in the runner up spot. Alex Dickerson from Indiana checks in at number 3 behind Barnes while Travis Harrison and George Springer are fourth and fifth respectively. The rest of the top ten is Brett Mooneyham from Stanford, Dylan Davis from Redmond WA, Phil Evan from LaCosta Canyon in California, Josh Tobias of SE Guilford High School in North Carolina, and Hudson Boyd is tenth out of South Fort Myers High School. A couple other names of interest is Jason Esposito of Vanderbilt checking in at 17th while Kolten Wong is at 49 on the countdown. You can check out the full list below.

Did I miss rendon?
Nope, Frankie hasn’t seen Rendon yet.
You expect this list to have credibility when you exclude Rendon and Purke (who is draft eligible despite being a true spohomore). They will probably be the 1st and 2nd picks.
Just because you haven’t seen them doesn’t mean that they aren’t, at the very least, top 5 players.
This list has destroyed whoever made its credibility.
I just posted the list…I love Purke personally and my Top 100 players list comes out in the fall.
Has he seen kyle gaedele? He should be considered here
Erik Johnson RHP CAL
Where is Archie Bradley (RHP, Broken Arrow HS, Oklahoma)? I am hearing much more hype about him than majority of the HS pitchers that made this list.
