Georgia catcher Brett DeLoach was arrested for improper driving, failure to yield right of way, underage possession of alcohol and driving under the influence. He played in 40 games last season for the Bulldogs accumulating a 277 with two home runs and 15 RBIs. Coach Perno refused to comment to the Athens-Banner Herald but stated that DeLoach will be punished. According to Georgia Athletic Association rules, he has to be suspended for 10 percent of the season so he has to miss six games based on that.
