GregBealsBallState Ball State head coach Greg Beals will be named the next head coach at Ohio State according to multiple sources. He has spent the last eight seasons with the Cardinals accumulating a 243-202 record while going 117-80 in MAC play. This past season, the team went 29-29 facing off against the fourth toughest non-conference schedule in the country.  He has also overseen 20 Cardinals being selected in the MLB Draft with Kolbrin Vitek being selected in the first round.

His full bio from Ball State is available by clicking here.

This news goes in direct opposite of what Kendall Rogers of Rivals.com wrote on June 5th when he stated that Kent State head coach Scott Stricklin would get the job. (FULL ARTICLE)

Someone did not do their homework. Recruits well, but how in the heck do you have 1st and 2nd round draft picks and NOT win the MAC conference. The 2nd round draft pick not recruited….. Perci Garner football recruit recruited by the team – not Beals. Beals is not the right person….what a SHOCK – Ball State loaded with talent but he has no clue what to do with it.
