Ryan Rosenblatt who contributes occasionally to this site wrote a great article about the UCLA baseball program where he says the first couple of games of April will help define the season for the Bruins. UCLA has started the season 13-0 with some impressive victories over Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, and Mississippi State to name a few but have frequently disappointed late in the season. Hopefully things change this season for UCLA behind the great arms in the rotation and in the bullpen.

I think UCLA’s sweep of Nebraska will prove to be more impressive as the season wears on, as Nebraska looks like they may have competent pitching again (we’ll find out when they go to Austin this weekend).
