The Dallas Baptist Patriots, preseason ranked #40 by Collegiate Baseball, have released their 2010 baseball schedule. Dallas Baptist enters their third season under the guidance of head coach Daniel Heefner, who guided the Patriots to their first ever NCAA Regional appearance in 2008 and a 38-17 overall record during the 2009 campaign.
The Patriots boast a stout schedule in 2010, highlighted by home dates with Oklahoma (March 9), Memphis (March 12-13), Washington State (March 16-17), TCU (March 22), Washington (March 25-27), and Texas Tech (April 14). DBU will hit the road for games against Texas (February 23), Texas Tech (March 2), Sam Houston State (March 30), Rice (April 6), TCU (April 19), Oklahoma (April 26), Fresno State (April 29-May 1), Texas A&M (May 6-8), Baylor (May 18), Wichita State (May 20-22), and for an appearance in the YMBL Cardinal Classic (March 4-6) with games against McNeese State, Lamar, and Penn State.
The San Jose State Spartans enter the 2010 season looking to repeat their 2009 WAC regular season championship performance.
The Spartans’ 2010 non-conference schedule is highlighted by home dates with Saint Mary’s (Feb. 20), San Francisco (March 2), Santa Clara (March 6), Pacific (March 26-27), BYU (April 1-3), and Stanford (May 12) as well as road contests with Saint Mary’s (Feb. 19, 21), Santa Clara (March 5, 7), Pacific (March 28), San Francisco (April 6), Wichita State (April 23-25), and Stanford (May 4). SJSU will also host the Jack Gifford Memorial Tournament (March 11-14) with UC Davis, Air Force, and Southern Illinois participating in the event.
The Spartans will welcome New Mexico State (April 16-19), Sacramento State (April 30-May 2), and Hawaii (May 21-23) to Memorial Stadium for WAC series, and the team will hit the road for conference series at Louisiana Tech (April 9-11), Nevada (May 7-9), and Fresno State (May 14-16).
The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles have released their 2010 schedule which is full of challenging non-conference games. The Golden Eagles begin the 2010 campaign with a three game set at Florida International (Feb. 26-28). ORU will also make non-conference trips to Baylor (March 5-7), UCLA (March 19-21), Texas (March 30), Missouri State (April 4), Arkansas (April 20), and Wichita State (May 4, 18). The Golden Eagles will welcome Central Arkansas (March 2), TCU (March 16), Wichita State (March 23-24), Missouri State (April 2-3), and UALR (April 13) to J.L. Johnson Stadium for out of conference clashes.
ORU will have home Summit League series with Oakland (April 9-11), Western Illinois (April 23-25), and North Dakota State (May 20-22). The Golgen Eagles will visit Southern Utah (April 15-17), IPFW (April 30-May 2), South Dakota State (May 7-9), and Centenary (May 14-16) for conference tiffs.
The Summit League Tournament will be hosted by Oral Roberts and will be held May 27-29 at J.L. Johnson Stadium.
