Florida Wide Receiver Riley Cooper has decided to focus on his football career instead of playing baseball. Cooper was selected by the Texas Rangers in the 25th round of the 2009 MLB Draft and was set to take his physical on Jan. 17th as he put it on hold throughout the football season. Last season, Riley started 23 games in right field and two in center field while batting .247 with 16 runs, eight walks, eight RBI and five doubles in 30 games. Riley also played this summer in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Cotuit Kettleers where he played in three games recording only a walk in five at-bats.
