UNCG signs 12 for 2010-2011 Season
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro baseball team secured the commitment of 12 student-athletes during the early signing period, coach Mike Gaski announced on Wednesday. The group includes seven players from North Carolina, three from Florida, and one from Maryland and South Carolina.
"We are thrilled with our recruiting class," said Gaski. "Coach (Jamie) Athas and coach (Dustin) Ijames did a great job of bringing in some of the best players in North Carolina along with other excellent out-of-state talent. We believe each of these young men will play a vital role in leading the Spartan program to Southern Conference success over the next four years."

Manhattan signs Seven for 2010-2011 Season
RIVERDALE, N.Y. – 2009 MAAC Coach of the Year Kevin Leighton announced the signing of seven student-athletes to National Letters of Intent during the NCAA’s Early Signing Period. Leighton welcomes four pitchers and three positions players who have confirmed their decision to attend Manhattan College beginning next fall. The Jaspers’ Class of 2014 features right-handed pitchers Kevin Bonanni (Plainview, N.Y./Plainview JFK),Jared Hirschberg (Katonah, N.Y./John Jay Cross River), Scott McClennan (Cornwall, N.Y./Cornwall Central), and southpaw Mike Martin (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Chaminade). Infielders Yoandry Galan (Miami, Fla./Florida Christian), Jeff Mathers (Elmira, N.Y./Elmira Free Academy) and catcher Mike Miranda (Miami, Fla./Florida Christian) also highlight the incoming class.
North Florida signs 12 for 2010-2011 Season
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida baseball team announced its 2010-11 signing class. The class is comprised of seven signees, six high school seniors and one junior college transfer, and five additional preferred walk-ons.
The class consists of Alex Bacon (Tampa, Fla.), Jamie Cardwell (Jupiter, Fla.), Caleb Denmark (Jacksonville, Fla.), Dillon Ennis (Ocala, Fla.), Garrick Ferguson (Jupiter, Fla.), Nathan Gahafer (Fort Myers, Fla.), Alex Hernandez (Lake Worth, Fla.), Joseph Iorio (Venice, Fla.), Shane Kennedy (Orlando, Fla.), Tyler Moore (Ormond Beach, Fla.), Blake Prince (Winter Park, Fla.) and Evan Stermer (Wellington, Fla.). The class includes a combination three outfielders, four infielders, three pitchers and two multi-positional players.
