JackieBradleyJR The State has an excellent spotlight article on South Carolina sophomore outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. who they say is the next superstar for the Gamecock baseball program this year. He has an outstanding freshman season where he batted .349 with 11 homers and 46 RBI while scoring a team high 69 runs. He spent this past summer in the Cape Cod Baseball League where he played for the Hyannis Mets. He ended up playing 44 games with the squad accumulating a .275 average while driving in 14 runs and stealing 10 bases. Baseball America named him the 19th best prospect in the CCBL after this summer.
