Bethune-Cookman has released its tentative 2010 schedule. BCU will begin the campaign by taking part in the MLB Urban Classic Tournament (Feb. 19-21) with games against UCLA, Loyola Marymount, and Southern. From there, the team will travel to Jacksonville (Feb. 23) for a mid-week contest before visiting Lubbock, Texas, for a double round robin tournament with Texas Tech and Washington State (Feb. 26-28).
BCU will then face off against Stetson (March 2) and Jacksonville (March 3) at home before heading to Troy (March 5-7) for a weekend series. Before opening conference play at Florida A&M (March 20-21), Bethune-Cookman will have home games against Wagner (March 9-10, March 12), USF (March 14), VCU (March 14), and Stetson (March 16).
The team will also road MEAC series against Coppin State (April 24-25), Maryland Eastern Shore (April 30-May 1), and Delaware State (May 8-9). BCU will have home conference series against North Carolina A&T (April 10-11) and Norfolk State (April 17-18).
Other notable non-conference games for BCU include road contests at Miami (April 20), Florida (May 4), and West Virginia (May 11-12). The MEAC Tournament (May 20-22) will be held in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The Wofford Terriers have unveiled their schedule for the upcoming season. The Terriers will begin the 2010 campaign with a twelve game homestand including a three game series against Pittsburgh (Feb. 19-21), a double round robin tournament with Dayton and Butler (Feb. 26-28), a mid-week contest against UNC Asheville (March 3), a weekend series with St. Peter’s (March 5-7), and a single clash with Duke (March 10).
The Terriers begin Southern Conference play on the road at Davidson (March 12-14) and also have road conference series at Western Carolina (April 9-11), College of Charleston (April 16-18), UNC Greensboro (April 23-25), and Furman (May 14-16). Wofford will host conference series with Georgia Southern (March 19-21), The Citadel (April 2-4), Elon (April 30-May 2), Samford (May 7-9), and Appalachian State (May 21-22).
The Terriers will also have non-conference road contests at New Mexico State (March 26-28), Vanderbilt (March 30-31), and South Carolina (May 11). The Southern Conference Tournament will be held May 26-30.
