The Seton Hall Pirates’ 53 game schedule will feature thirty games at Owen T. Carroll Field. The Pirates begin the season with nine games away from home including road series at Texas A&M (Feb. 19-21) and William & Mary (Feb. 5-7) as well as three games in the Big East/Big Ten Challenge (Feb. 26-28) in Clearwater, Florida. Seton Hall’s home opener will be as hosts of the SHU Strike Out Cancer Tournament (March 12-14) where the team will play games against NJIT, Iona, and Lafayette.
After home mid-week games against Stony Brook (March 16) and Manhattan (March 17), the Pirates will host the second weekend of the SHU Strike Out Cancer Tournament (March 19-21) where they will face off against Stony Brook, Central Connecticut State, and Coppin State.
The Pirates Big East play at home against West Virginia (March 26-28) and also have home conference series against Cincinnati (April 9-11), Notre Dame (April 16-18), Pittsburgh (May 7-8), and Rutgers (May 14-16). Seton Hall will hit the road for conference series against St. John’s (April 1-3), Louisville (April 23-25), South Florida (April 30-May 2), and Connecticut (May 20-22).
The Big East Baseball Championship (May 25-29) will be held in Clearwater, Florida.
The Utah Utes have released their 2010 schedule, and the 49 game slate features 31 games away from Salt Lake City. The Utes begin the season with sixteen straight games on the road. The team visit UC Davis (Feb. 19-21), Sam Houston State (Feb. 26-28), and Washington State (March 5-7) before taking part in the Oregon State Tournament (March 11-14).
The Utes then continue their road trip as they begin conference play at New Mexico (March 19-21). Utah will also have road Mountain West series against San Diego State (April 16-18), BYU (April 22-24), and UNLV (May 14-16). The Utes host Air Force (April 1-3), UNLV (April 9-11), TCU (April 30-May 2), and New Mexico (May 20-22) for home conference series. Utah will also visit USC (May 7-9) for a non-conference weekend series.
Toledo head coach Cory Mee has announced the Rockets’ 2010 baseball schedule. The Rockets will play 29 of their 52 games on the road, including the first nine games of the year. Toledo opens the season with a series at Memphis (Feb. 26-28) followed by an appearance in the Coastal Carolina Tournament (March 5-7) with games against Coastal Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Albany. The Rockets will then play a road contest at College of Charleston (March 9) before traveling to Rock Hill, South Carolina, for games against Winthrop (March 11) and Canisius (March 13).
The home opener for the Rockets will have their home opener against IPFW (March 17) before a split home-road weekend series against Cincinnati (March 19-21). Toledo will begin MAC play at home against Kent State (March 26-28), and the team will also host conference series against Bowling Green (April 16-18), Northern Illinois (April 23-25), Central Michigan (May 7-9), and Ball State (May 20-22). The Rockets will have road MAC series at Akron (April 2-4), Buffalo (April 9-11), Western Michigan (April 30-May 2), and Eastern Michigan (May 14-16).
Other notable non-conference opponents for the Rockets are Ohio State (March 31), Michigan (April 13), and Notre Dame (April 27). The MAC Conference Tournament begins Wednesday, May 26.
