The 2010 schedule for the South Dakota State Jackrabbits has been announced. The 56 game schedule features 31 games away from Huether Field, including a 31 game road trip to begin the season.
The road slate begins with an opening weekend series at Murray State (Feb. 26-28) followed by a mid-week date at Nebraska (March 2) before a four game set at Air Force (March 5-7). The Jacks then visit Arkansas (March 9-10) for a two game mid-week set before taking part in the Metrodome Tournament (March 12-14) along with Harvard, Creighton, and Minnesota.
A four game series at Northern Colorado (March 19-21) is next on the schedule, followed by a mid-week series against the Iowa Hawkeyes (March 30-31) in Iowa City.
A weekend series at Dallas Baptist (April 2-3) is followed by the start of conference play on the road at IPFW (April 9-11). The Jacks also play road conference series at Oakland (April 16-18), Southern Utah (April 22-24), and North Dakota State (May 13-15).
The Jackrabbits will have their first game at Huether Field against Minnesota (April 20). After that game, the team will have fourteen of their final twenty-four games at home including Summit League games against Centenary (April 30-May 2), Oral Roberts (May 7-9), and Western Illinois (May 20-22). The Summit League Championships will be held May 27-29 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
2010 South Dakota State Schedule
The Yale Bulldogs have also released their 2010 slate. The Bulldogs will begin the season on the road at Maryland-Baltimore County (March 6-8) followed by an appearance in the RussMatt Invitational (March 9-16) in Orlando, Florida. Yale will then visit Hartford (March 19-20) and Connecticut (March 24) before making its first appearance of the year at home as part of a split series against NYIT (March 27-28).
The Bulldogs open conference play on the road at Columbia (April 3) and also have road Ivy League contests against Penn (April 4), Dartmouth (April 24-25), and Brown (May 1). Yale has home conference series against Cornell (April 10), Princeton (April 11), Harvard (April 17-18), and Brown (April 30).

I hope to catch a Yale doubleheader this year against Harvard or Brown but that is all depending on other schedules.
