The Wright State Raiders enjoyed a successful 2009 season, posting a 33-30 record and earning a spot in the NCAA Tournament. The 2010 campaign will begin with a round robin tournament at the USA Baseball Complex against Illinois-Chicago, LeMoyne, and Canisius (Feb. 19-21). The following weekend the Raiders will visit the Clemson Tigers (Feb. 26-28) for a three game set. Wright State will then take part in the University of Virginia Tournament against Virginia and Dartmouth (March 5-7).
The Raiders will then co-host the Wright State/Dayton Tournament and play games against Oakland, Indiana State, and Dayton (March 12-14). The Raiders then hit the road for a brutal five game stretch as they visit Kentucky (March 17), Oklahoma State (March 19-21), and Vanderbilt (March 24). Conference play begins for Wright State the following weekend when Valparaiso (March 26-27) visits town. Other home conference series for the Raiders will be Illinois-Chicago (April 16-17), Milwaukee (May 7-8), Cleveland State (May 14), and Youngstown State (May 16). The Raiders will play conference road contests at Butler (April 2-3), Cleveland State (April 9-10), Valparaiso (April 23), Illinois-Chicago (April 24), and Youngstown State (April 30-May 1).
The Raiders will also take part in the Joe Nuxhall Classic (April 13-14) with Xavier, Miami, and Xavier. The Horizon League Championship (May 25-30) will take place at the US Steel Yard in Gary, Indiana.
The Saint Louis Billikens begin the 2010 season with a spot in the Austin Peay Tournament (February 19-21) with two games against both Austin Peay and Illinois State. The Billikens will then travel to Central Arkansas (Feb. 26-28) for a weekend series before returning home for mid-week games against Southeast Missouri State (March 2) and Western Illinois (March 3). The team will then travel to Port Charlotte, Florida (March 5-8) for four games in the Florida sun. The Billikens will also have non-conference games against Murray State (March 12-14), Kansas (March 20-21), Ole Miss (March 24), and Arkansas (April 7),
The Billikens have home conference series against Xavier (March 26-28), Temple (April 9-11), St. Bonaventure (April 30-May 2), and Dayton (May 21-23). Saint Louis will have road Atlantic 10 contests at Saint Joseph’s (April 1-2), Fordham (April 16-18), Massachusetts (April 23-25), La Salle (May 7-9), and Charlotte (May 14-16). The Atlantic 10 Conference Championship will be held May 26-29.
