Tyler Ogle (Oklahoma) was named Player of the Week and Mike Bolsinger (Arkansas) co-Pitcher of the Week by the Texas Collegiate League, and the Marshals took care of Coppell at home 3-2 on Monday.
The win moved McKinney into sole possession of fourth place, one game ahead of Coppell. The two teams will play again at The Gabe on Tuesday night at 7:05.
Ogle earned the week six honor by going 6-10 with a double and three RBI in three games. Bolsinger, who shared the honor with East Texas’ Matt Click, had two starts with one win in 12 innings pitched and a 1.50 ERA. In those two games Bolsinger allowed only six hits and three walks while striking out 16. The pair contributed to a 4-1 Marshals record during the week.

The Marshals next home game is Thursday, July 30th as we host the Victoria Generals.
East Texas Pump Jacks Vs. Victoria Generals postponed
Monday night’s scheduled game between the East Texas Pump Jacks and Victoria Generals has been postponed due to field conditions. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Tuesday beginning at 5:05 pm at historic Driller Park.

The doubleheader will feature two seven inning games, the first one beginning at 5:05 pm. The second contest will begin 20 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Tuesday night will still be Kids Eat Free Night, with children 12 and under enjoying a meal of a hot dog, chips, and a drink.

Thursday will be Thirsty Thursday, when fans can beat the heat with $1 draft beers and 50-cent soft drinks all night long. Friday will mark the final Fireworks Friday of the season, presented by KLTV News, your East Texas news leader.
