The Topeka Capital Journal has a great article on the Topeka Golden Giants plans for the 2010 season with the Lake Shawnee Ballpark which serves as the team’s home. The Golden Giants are members of the MINK League and had early success this season before injuries riddled the squad. The team is also exploring the possibility of leaving the MINK League in favor of going independent and making weekend trips as far away as Mexico and Alaska.
