We have two major coaching changes in college baseball today. The biggest news is former Arizona State recruiting coordinator Josh Holliday will replace Erik Bakich at Vanderbilt. Bakich left last week for the head coaching job at Maryland. This is huge news as Holliday recruited the number 1 class in the country for this past year’s freshman class and has also been with Georgia Tech where he brought in some excellent players like Matt Wieters. The other big coaching change is East Carolina’s recruiting coordinator Link Jarrett moving over to Auburn to fill that position also. You can check out Aaron Fitt’s report by clicking here.

Huge get for Vandy who looks to be making a play in the SEC. With limited schollies, a recruiting coordinator can make a huge difference from one year to the next.
