Tim Dwyer of The University Daily Kansan has a great article on Kansas pitcher T.J. Walz who made the 2009 USA National Team on one of the final days of tryouts. He ended up pitching four innings allowing only a run on two hits during his trial appearance. He has also made an appearance against Canada where he went 4.1 innings while striking out nine batters and allowing only one hit and walk. You can check out the full article by clicking here.
